It also examines available investment and financing mecha\u00adnisms for the Ukrainian state and private sector under existing Green Deal&nbsp;framework.<\/p>\n<p>The research was commis\u00adsioned by LibMod and done by <a href=\"https:\/\/dixigroup.org\/en\/analytic\/investment-plans-of-the-eu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Dixi Group <\/a>in frames of the project \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/ukraineverstehen.de\/ueber-uns\/projekte\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Ukraine in Europe<\/a>\u201d, supported by the Federal Foreign&nbsp;Office.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/libmodredaktion.fra1.digitaloceanspaces.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/20240905144240\/Investment-plans-of-the-EU.pdf\" class=\"pdfemb-viewer\" style data-width=\"max\" data-height=\"max\" data-toolbar=\"bottom\" data-toolbar-fixed=\"off\">Investment plans of the&nbsp;EU<\/a>\n<h3><a href=\"https:\/\/libmodredaktion.fra1.digitaloceanspaces.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/20240905144240\/Investment-plans-of-the-EU.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">You can download the full PDF document&nbsp;here<\/a><\/h3>\n<p>The European Union has ambitious plans on climate change and environ\u00admental invest\u00adments in the upcoming decade, aiming to become carbon neutral by 2050. Under the European Green Deal framework, the EU will mobilize \u20ac1 trillion of invest\u00adments for sustainable projects and policies that will come from the EU and national budgets, private capital and loan guarantees. Half of this financing is expected to be provided from the next budget of the Union, the 2021\u20132027 Multi\u00adannual Financial&nbsp;Framework.<\/p>\n<p>Most of the EU financing under the European Green Deal will be available for member states \u2013 govern\u00adments, private and non-profit sectors, and individuals. Yet, there still are ways for the Ukrainian businesses to get involved. One of such ways is to identify the areas where additional exports of goods or services will be needed, facil\u00aditate Ukraine-EU trade, and attract additional foreign invest\u00adments in the national economy. As the EGD prior\u00adi\u00adtizes certain areas, European businesses and govern\u00adments will drive demand in biodi\u00adversity protection, sustainable agriculture, clean energy, sustainable industry, building and renovating, sustainable mobility, elimi\u00adnating pollution, circular economy and digital technologies. Financial instru\u00adments such InvestEU, Just Transition Mechanism, Horizon Europe, Next Gener\u00adation EU, Modern\u00adization Fund, Cohesion Fund, Connecting Europe Facility, Innovation Fund will be used to achieve the set&nbsp;goals.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key questions discussed in this research&nbsp;are:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Identi\u00adfi\u00adcation of areas that will be prior\u00adi\u00adtized for devel\u00adopment in the EGD strategic policies as those which will provide investment and export opportunities.<\/li>\n<li>Research of funding mecha\u00adnisms for priority areas of the EGD that will be prolonged or created for the next EU budget period (2021\u20132027).<\/li>\n<li>Analysis of the potential of Ukrainian businesses to meet the growing demand from the EU countries in certain areas, the devel\u00adopment of which will be accel\u00aderated by the&nbsp;EGD.<\/li>\n<li>Research of the EU plans in terms of inter\u00adna\u00adtional aid in its budget for the next period and under the EGD framework; selection of those available for&nbsp;Ukraine;<\/li>\n<li>Devel\u00adopment of recom\u00admen\u00adda\u00adtions for different stake\u00adholders in Ukraine, with a&nbsp;focus on the government and the private&nbsp;sector.<\/li>\n<li>Consid\u00ader\u00adation of COVID-19 recovery aspect, with regards to both Ukrainian policies direction and its alignment with the EU course, and to financing available for economic and social indicators improvement in terms of third countries&nbsp;recovery.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><a href=\"https:\/\/libmodredaktion.fra1.digitaloceanspaces.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/20240905144240\/Investment-plans-of-the-EU.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">You can download the full PDF document&nbsp;here<\/a><\/h3>\n<p><img class=\"alignnone wp-image-23921 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/libmodredaktion.fra1.digitaloceanspaces.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/20240905145906\/textende.png\" alt=\"Textende\" width=\"40\" height=\"120\">[\/vc_column_text][vc_separator][vc_column_text]Hat Ihnen unser Beitrag gefallen?
