For more infor\u00admation about the network, <a href=\"https:\/\/libmod.de\/en\/network-russia\/\">click here<\/a>![\/vc_message][vc_column_text]The failed Wagner uprising exposed a&nbsp;funda\u00admental weakness in Russia\u2019s system of power: neither the political elite, the security services nor the population were eager to defend the leader in the Kremlin. We could see the element of panic in Putin\u2019s address to the Russian&nbsp;people.<\/p>\n<p>Yet, since Yevgeny Prigozhin\u2019s death, Vladimir Putin\u2019s grip on power seems firmer than ever. But serious questions remain: How long will Putin be able to control the elites and suppress both those who want to stop the war and those who want to fight it more aggres\u00adsively? How will the lack of signif\u00adicant military success in Ukraine affect his power? Does the Kremlin have the economic and military capacity to wage a&nbsp;protracted war?
