The Center for liberal Modernity cordially invites you to the online presen\u00adtation of the Policy Paper \u201cSupport Without Effect? Economic factors constraining the success of RES support auctions in Ukraine\u201d on November 17 at 11:00 CET (12:00 Kyiv time).<\/p>\n

The shift from the feed-in tariff to RES auctions was intended to reduce the cost of renewable energy support and improve its market integration. However, the launch of the auctions was delayed by the debt crisis, macro\u00adeco\u00adnomic diffi\u00adculties and wartime risks. The first auctions in 2024\u20132025 proved largely ineffective \u2013 most lots attracted no successful bids.<\/p>\n

During the presen\u00adtation, we will discuss what changes in the feed-in premium and contract for difference mecha\u00adnisms\u2019 calcu\u00adlation method\u00adology are needed to stimulate investment in new RES capacity, which is necessary for the recovery and devel\u00adopment of Ukraine\u2019s energy system.<\/p>\n
