Maria Sannikova-Franck is the Director of LibMod’s Russia programme. Maria has 20 years of experience working on trans­for­mation, civil society, and human rights in Russia and Eastern Europe. Before joining the Center, she served for more than ten years as a foreign policy advisor to Marieluise Beck, then a member of the German Bundestag. Prior to this, she worked as a programme officer with the Moscow-based Center for the Devel­opment of Democracy and Human Rights. Maria holds an MA in Inter­na­tional Relations from Freie Univer­sität Berlin and a Commu­ni­cation Studies Diploma from Perm Technical University in Russia.
