Maria Sannikova-Franck
Programme Director
Maria Sannikova-Franck is the Director of LibMod’s Russia programme. Maria has 20 years of experience working on transformation, civil society, and human rights in Russia and Eastern Europe. Before joining the Center, she served for more than ten years as a foreign policy advisor to Marieluise Beck, then a member of the German Bundestag. Prior to this, she worked as a programme officer with the Moscow-based Center for the Development of Democracy and Human Rights. Maria holds an MA in International Relations from Freie Universität Berlin and a Communication Studies Diploma from Perm Technical University in Russia.
