Aysel Aliyeva

Aysel Aliyeva (MA) is a project manager for Ecolog­ical Modernity. She is a political economist with a focus on post­colo­nial sustain­able devel­op­ment and graduated from the Univer­sity of Kassel. During her studies and profes­sional career, she has developed extensive expertise in sustain­able devel­op­ment and green trans­for­ma­tion. Regional focus: Eastern European Part­ner­ship, Russia, EU-African devel­op­ment and trade cooperation.

She is also actively involved as an education officer for global learning and education for sustain­able devel­op­ment as well as anti-racism work and discrim­i­na­tion awareness in schools in Berlin and Brandenburg.
