LibMod-Policy Paper: Towards a European Climate Diplomacy

In the LibMod-Policy-Paper: Towards a European Climate Diplomacy, Dr. Georg Zachmann analyses the extension of the European Green Deal to the three asso­ci­ated states of the EU (Ukraine, Georgia and the Republic of Moldova). In order to achieve the ambitious climate targets by 2050, the EU needs an ambitious and strategic European climate diplomacy. Given their close economic and political ties with the EU, these three countries are ideal candi­dates to test and further develop the EU’s instru­ments for this endeavour. This policy paper proposes concrete recom­men­da­tions for action to decision-makers in Berlin and Brussels to implement the goals of the European Green Deal for Ukraine, Moldova and Georgia.
