Do Russian war crimes constitute genocide? What obligations does this impose on the international community? Experts from politics, academia and civil society discussed these questions at the international conference “International Law against Genocide”.

On 21 October 2022, international experts from politics, academia and civil society discussed these questions at the conference, organised by the Centre for Liberal Modernity, together with the Raoul Wallenberg Centre for Human Rights, the Atlantic Council and the Ukrainian Jewish Encounter.
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba spoke about Russian war crimes and genocide on Ukrainian soil in his powerful introductory speech.
Further conference contributions will be published here in the coming weeks in a loose succession sequence.
