Daniel Fried

Daniel (Dan) Fried is a retired US diplomat and a distinguished fellow at the Atlantic Council. He served as assistant secretary of state for European and Eurasian affairs from 2005 to 2009. Between 2013 bis 2017 he headed the US Office of Sanctions Coordination.
